Theo's next con is... MCM Comic con Birmingham!!

Hello and welcome to my new site, designed by myself for my fursona, theo!! ! I've decided to make this new one with a bit more of an earthy colour pallet, so lots of browns to match her beetle theming. Also adding some animal theming, especially canines.This site is mostly for me and friends, to store gifs and stickers, and to organise and talk about furry and convention stuff!!

On here, i'll post progress updates on my suit, theo, and upload images, such as art or con pictures! (once i find out how... )

Ok, first off, who (and what!) is Theo??

Theo (or Theodosia) is a hybrid of a beetle and a dog! She isn't based on any particular variation of either species, and mostly exists just to be a fun character. She is made to represent me, and is meant to be my fursona! This is a character that furries use to represent themselves in the fandom. I came up with Theo's concept and original design around December of 2025, and began crafting a fursuit of her around January 2026! I actually came up with her design FOR the purpose of making a fursuit, as i bought a fursuit head base of vinted on impulse for comic con the following year

I had done this method of makinng characters for the purpose of making costumes before with previous projects, but none of the characters stuck. Luckily Theo became an exception! i began to love her character more and more, and now she is my fursona!

Theo's design and character have a few different inspirations too!! Firstly, i wanted a design that didnt necessarily reflect me physically, but more so things that i have interests in! I really love canines, vulpines, and other dog-like creatures, so i used that as a base for her design. But canine characters are very popular, so i gave her more beetle elements to help her stand out from other sonas! When i first made Theo, i didn't have a particular interest in beetles, but now i have begun to develop an interest in them, my current favorite species is the elephant beetle!!

Her design is slightly inspired by the styles of two of my favourite manga authors: Kei Urana (author of gachiakuta) and Paru Itagaki (author of beastars). Their influence isn't TOO obvious in her design but its there i swear

I also wanted to make her more "edgy" than my previous fursonas (most of which being much more pink, fluffy and cute than Theo). Also, i've found i really enjoy designing characters with piercings and sharper edges, so i incorperated that into her design :3

Theo lives in a world filled with other anthro characters with strange features and styles, just like her friends, sprinkles and urchin!!

She enjoys collecting figures and toys, wearing t shirts that are probably too big for her, and hanging out with her friends!!
